ARTIST STATEMENT
The photography book 'Emotion Dictionary' is also an English-Chinese dictionary that collects and documents 700 English words that describe human emotions. These words are added as illustrations in tangent with the daily photos taken of travellers in Europe from 2015-17.
With each photo is an added example sentences that hide the traveller's own words found in dialogues between refugees and the travellers, and diary entries of the traveller. — Elva Lai
