Perspective is a photobook by Hong Kong photographer, Lai Yat Nam.
Having collected different points and lines of urban corners, a particular time-space reality is constituted and captured by the photographer. What presented in the album probably is not the kind of collective memory everyone shared, but a record of many precious fleeting moments everyone missed. These images are all from within as they reflect Yat Nam's most direct and pure "perspective". Standing in his own shoes, revising the same ray of light, he picks his camera up again, feeling a burning desire to carry on shooting.
