Pedas is a zine of Indonesian cookery by chef Rahel Stephanie. Meaning “spicy,” Pedas is a collaboration across countries and disciplines that aims to get at the heart of Indonesian cuisine and culture.
In Rahel's own words: ‘Apart from being an extension of myself and my cooking practices, this zine is my journey in reclaiming the essence of pedas as an Indonesian woman.’
Inside find six spicy recipes, complete with review notecards, plus features on Indonesian street food, the importance of sambal, and more.
